A Post of Anti-Emo

Got up early early early today - well, okay, 10, but I went to bed at 7.30 am, so it still counts - to spend the day with diamminesilver and hanjuuluver (formerly Envy, but I fiiiiinally talked her into getting a livejournal today), which was awesometastic fun. Rode around for awhile hung out, then went to the movie theater to make use of those free tickets I get for being in bondage to the evil corporation. Bit of a snafu with that because apparently I'm only allowed one guest, but it was my first time so they let it slide.

Saw Iron Man again; hanjuuluver and diamminesilver hadn't seen it yet, and I think mostly just wanted to watch me flail over Tony and his sexyness, but we all had a fantastic time. There were only about 6 other people in the theater with us, since it's near the end of its run, which was great cause we were free to do as much giggling and awwwing and snarky commentary as we wanted, which was a lot. Everyone agreed that Tony is Pretty, he and Rhodey are incredibly gay for each other, and Obediah Stane is King of Badtouch. I was impressed that the movie was just as much fun the second time around, and it was good fic fuel, too.

Went back to diamminesilver's so we could hang and she could show us random Final Fantasy Tactics yaoi. Decided we were hungry so we went to Heaven Dragon, which still has great American take-out style Chinese, didn't even embarrass ourselves too much in the restaurant. Then we went back and went swimming, so much fun even though the water was about 15 degrees - I haven't been swimming in ages, even if it wasn't so much swimming as floating around and tackling each other in the water.

So now I'm exhausted, sunburned, and quite happy, all things considered.
