Dear Yuletide Writer
Dear Yuletide Writer,
Thank you tons for writing me a story! And don't worry too much - I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to YT, and just you knowing/wanting to write one of these fandoms earns you a million points. If none of these suggestions work for you, and you have something else you are really excited about writing instead, I'll still probably like it a lot. Mostly I just want you to have fun with this. But here are some ideas to get you going. (Bonus points is for stuff that is extra extra optional, just small details that would make me happy to see)
Things I Like: Slash, threesomes, exploring complicated relationships (romantic and not), banter, wacky hijinks, light hurt/comfort (think broken arms and the flu more than child abuse and torture), teams that turn into make-shift families, plotty adventures and casefic, fights/arguments that accidentally turn into sex
Things I Don't Really Like: Graphic violence, non-con, heavy BDSM, character bashing (especially female characters), humiliation, extreme angst, whumpage or deathfic
And some more fandom-specific thoughts:
Tokyo Dogs
On my sign-up I asked for So/Yuki/Maruo, with wacky co-habiting hijinks. I'd like the threesome, but gen would be awesome too, or So/Maruo as a couple acting as big brothers to Yuki - basically, I want to see the dynamics between all three of them as a group trying to get along together, with plenty of bickering, cooking lessons, arguments over who gets which side of the bed, and being supportive of each other's emotional damage. Set during the show, or after Ep 10, if you think Maruo and Yuki dragged So out of the airport by the collar. Casefic would also be fun, or their relationship spilling over into the field. Bonus points for So shooting things, Maruo's biker-gang minions, and So's mama being awesome.
Lucifer Box - Mark Gatiss
I would very much like Lucifer and Charlie Jackpot having adventures, please! Saving the day from evil-doers, solving mysteries, putting themselves in terrible danger, etc. With plenty of Charlie as the damsel in distress, of course. Alternatively, I'd like to see something of their life in London with Lucifer's social circle, or something that shows how their relationship has developed from what we saw at the end of The Vesuvius Club. Or, you know. Porn. That would also be good. Bonus points for art geekery and Charlie being a sullen little punk.
Acropolis Now
I listed a few different pairings in my optional details, and that is because I have no OTP for this series. The episode Love made me kind of want Heraclitus/Plato, but I also ship Heraclitus/Xanthippe a bit, and Plato/Aristophanes seems like it would be entertaining in that way that only two absurd people trying to out-drama each other could be. Or you could do something else! Or gen! But please no sex with Socrates or making Plato straight. Mostly I'd like something in the general tone of the show, with plenty of ridiculousness and over-complicated scheming, romantic or not. Bonus points for Heraclitus and Xanthippe being BFF gossip buddies and Xanthippe being happy for once.
Niels and Gang
I would like Agent 250 and Agent 300 doing stuff together. I don't care what stuff - saving the world from aliens, getting married, saving the world from aliens that try to invade their wedding - I just want to see them interacting together as a couple and/or as secret agents. I think they have a really interesting, fun dynamic in the comic, and I love how their relationship has played so far, and I'd like to see more of that. Bonus points for banter, hijinks, 300 being his sauve dorky self, and hurt/comfort with 300 being hurt/comforted.
