Newsflash: I'm a Giant Nerd
Books I've requested from the library this weekend:
Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three (Mara Leavitt)
Quick and Easy Korean Cooking (Cecilia Hae-Jin Lee)
Komarr (Lois McMaster Bujold)
The Fortune of War (Patrick O'Brien)
The Best of HP Lovecraft
Inda (Sherwood Smith)
Heavy Time (CJ Cherryh)
Cyteen (CJ Cherryh)
Snuff (Terry Prachett)
Luck in the Shadows (Lynn Flewelling)
Fingersmith (Sarah Waters)
The Bards of Bone Plain (Patricia McKillip)
Soccer Against the Enemy: How the world's most popular sport starts and stops wars, fuels revolutions, and keeps dictators in power (Simon Kuper)
One Corpse Too Many (Ellis Peters)
The Prague Cemetary (Umberto Eco)
The Tale of Genji (Murasaki Shikibu)
July is going to be an interesting month for my reading list, I expect. (And this is still less disjointedly baffling that my amazon cart, which is a heaping pile of opera books, Norse mythology, books about medieval monks, space opera, video games, and a book called "Kiss My Relics: Hermaphroditic Fictions of the Middle Ages" that I can no longer remember how I found or why I was looking for it but with a title like that, how can I not read it?)
