This Is Better Than Working

Here's mine! OTPs from a range of fandoms, new and not-so-new. Mostly slash, but at least one het ship. One that no one but telyanofcelore  will probably get.

1. He'd trust no one else to put a bullet through his head. Sam/Dean, guessed by telyanofcelore  on IM
2. He can't resist a man who understands Mersenne primes. Rodney/John - Guessed by everysecondtues 
3. History will sing of what they did together, and forget they once were mere boys. Arthur/Merlin - guessed by telyanofcelore .
4. Fire and ice: they have nothing in common but the fighting. Sokka/Zuko, guessed much to my surprise by hanjuuluver 
5. As long as one of them owes the other, they never have to stop.
6. He understands what it's like to be the sidekick.
7. Id, Ego, and Superego: together they're a real boy. Tim/Bart/Kon - Guessed by everysecondtues , and my favoritest OT3 for which every permutation makes an awesome ship.
8. True love from the very first prank. Booster Gold/Blue Beetle, guessed by telyanofcelore . Heeeeee.
9. He never said it to his face - and now it's too late. Captain America/Iron Man, guessed by telyanofcelore . Post- Civil War, obviously.
10. They'd make one beautiful baby.
11. He isn't used to a problem he can't shoot or fuck his way out of. John Hart/PC Andy - Guessed by telyanofcelore , pretty much the only other person in the universe who ships it.
12. One duet is all it takes. Trowa/Quatre - Guessed by everysecondtues 
13. He brings him flowers from every mission.
14. Their kinks are in continuity, even when their plot aren't. Jack/Ianto, guessed by telyanofcelore , and this is totally true. Ilu TW.
15. He's a hero, and he still can't save him. Clark Kent/Lex Luthor (Smallville incarnations) - guessed by  telyanofcelore

I also kind of want to say Grindelwald/Dumbledore for 3, but it was less what they did together and more that they disagreed and were forced to fight one another.

Thinking about it, is 4 Pyro/Iceman?

If 7 is an OT3, Tim/Bart/Kon?

As for older for 15, ummm. Going back a ways, Batman/Superman? Or, hm. Not as old, Bruce/Jason? /terrible at this.

And I'm going to go with 9 for Tim/Kon, and with that, I think I'm guessed out. I'm just glad I got 2 and 12. \o/

Well, okay, and I kind of want 1 to be either Bruce/Clark or Methos/Duncan.

Nailed 7! I actually ship every permutation of this OT3 - Tim/Kon, Tim/Bart, Kon/Bart, and Tim/Bart/Kon. It all works!

Me, too :D It is such a fun OT3.

And you know that Bruce has a kryptonite bullet, and that he's the only one Clark would trust to take him out if he went dark side. With Methos/Duncan, though, it's less angsty and more that Duncan trusts Methos to shoot him for his own good, even if Duncan disagrees with the reasons. (With Methos, shooting Duncan and taking his place in a duel is almost as good as saying "I love you" :\)

It does worry me a bit how many ships I have where one partner would conceivably be in a position to shoot the other and would do so. o_O

Occasionally angst tries to creep into my Tim/Kon/Bart, but it cannot stand up to force of nature that is Bart Allen. Hee!
