Glad both of our fencing teachers are awesome - mine is like Ms Penn, down to the maniacal grin she gets when she's going to make us do something hard. You have fencing every day? Mine is a club, so I only have it once weekly... and Japanese is totally made of win. Katakana are No Fun, though. Katakana bad. Learning katakana in two days - REALLY bad. Hiragana lovely. Kanji evil demon from hell sent to ruin us all, and haven't even started it yet. Psht. You'll do fine in SLE, just you wait and see. Remember, you are now on a footing with your mental peers - it isn't just you and me and a couple others in a class full of people who can't write even a page on a poem. Challenging! Exciting! And, probably, absolutely terrifying. I'm starting to get over my huge sense of inadequacy, and since you're that much smarter than I, you should get over yours tolerably swiftly too.
