On the one hand, fencing is hard, and I fail at it; on the other hand, I think I'm getting marginally better. Marginally.
On the one hand, I have a SLE paper I will probably be writing long into the night, and Japanese I haven't even tried to study, and I am feeling much overwhelmed with work. On the other hand, I am feeling quite inspired fanfiction-wise, which is a nice change from the last month.
However, I think overall I am going to say this really is a good day, for this reason: for some reason I am, at this point, unable to fathom at all, I received a refund check from financial services for about 700 dollars. Joy! Rapture! Money to buy books for the rest of the year!
