Dear Everyone Who Drives In Or Through New Mexico: I AM SO SO SORRY. THAT WILL BUFF RIGHT OUT.
Honestly, I can see the practical necessity of it - it's safer to have two drivers in the house in case of emergencies, he won't have to waste time driving me to my mom's, I can go places by myself and not be stuck at the house as much, etc etc. At the same time...the last time he tried to teach me to drive I ended up in a ditch within thirty seconds. I ended up so completely in a ditch it took us half an hour to get the truck out again. To say my skills are inadequate is a gross understatement: my depth perception is weak, I'm easily distracted by shiny objects, and my proprioception is so poor I routinely walk into walls. So excuse me if I remain skeptical of my ability to manuever a large, fast-moving object surrounded by other large, fast-moving objects not in any way under my control.
What are the odds he'll forget about this by June?
