I almost killed myself this morning tripping over the cord of my headphones, which when I think about is kind of pathetic. But it left me feeling kind of bitchy (or maybe that''s the staying uop til 4.30...),. So. Bitching, of utterly no consequence.

I really hate how ticklish I am. Which is random, except that I spent the night at Envy's and every time we have a sleepover I end up getting tickled a lot, because a) everyone knows how ticklish I am and how much it pisses me off and b) I'm not a morning person, and you have to take pretty drastic efforts to get me up and keep me that way. And okay, most people are sort of ticklish, but still - my legs? WTF body? My legs? You're going to let people torment me by tickling my ankles? That's lame. Just so you know.

On a side note, my bed hates me. That's the only explanation I can come up for the fact that I wake up every morning with my blankets and pillows wadded on the floor and approximately 2 square inches of the mattress still covered by a sheet. Bah.

Just, you know, a few things I was thinking about today, in lieu of actually socializing with people at the party.

1) Is there any fandom in existence, anywhere, that it isn't at all possible to cross with Harry Potter? I mean, every once in a while I'll go on a crossover kick and decide I want to read every decent slash crossover I can find, and I can always find Harry Potter. I've read Naruto, FMA, Angel/Buffy, Gundam Wing, Good Omens, Discworld, Kingdom Hearts, you name it. This week it's Yu Yu Hakuusho. Which, when you think about it, is pretty darn weird. Not quite as weird as Gundam, but still weird. And yet it works. That, my friends, is why the HP fandom kicks ass.

2) Do Mary-Sue writers know just how much the entire rest of the world completely and utterly hates Mary-Sues? Do they sit there writing and actually think they are writing something really awesome that everyone will love, or do they know everyone bitches constantly about the evil that is a Mary-Sue and decide to write it anyway? I ask, because I just really do not understand the brains of people who write that kind of thing. I understand the Mary-Sue impulse. I do. I have it too. I have tons of Mary-Sue story-lines in my head, where I decided I wanted to try to make a new character, or write myself into the adventure. But you see, I KEEP THEM IN MY HEAD. I never write them down, and if I did, they would never see the light of day, because I know NO ONE ELSE CARES ABOUT ME ENOUGH TO WANT TO READ IT. But Mary-Sue writers seem to think other people do...

3) How how how do people manage to write uke!Sephiroth? Seriously. It just - the man is the epitome of dominant. He is the very definition of seme. I can't imagine anyone in any of my fandoms who could be considered more of a complete and utter top.  Most of the time, I have a definite top and bottom within my OTPs, but I can manage to picture my semes taking it with someone else (ex - Leon's always going to top Cloud, but he'd probably uke for Seifer). Sephiroth? NOT. A. CHANCE. EVER. WITH ANYONE. I've tried to do it, but my inner Sephiroth just looks at me and raises his eyebrow, like 'Bitch, if you think that's going in there, you'd better think again.' He flat-out refuses every time. I just don't get it. And don't even get me started on Seph bottoming for Cloud....*twitch*

Well, there you go. Three questions of the day.
