Our Plot of Cracktastic Doom
Oct. 21st, 2007 07:13 pmNow, waaaaaay long ago, I may or may not have mentioned an idea for a collaboration project between myself and Roy, spawned by a class project Al and I did once upon our senior year. Schedules, classes, and time zones being what they are, this plot rather died off for the last month or so while Roy and I got settled and tried to find time to talk at all, let alone about porn and other good things. But as of this weekend, we are /so/ on! We've worked out all the rules for writing this, and we shall probably start production sometime this week if everything goes well and we are lucky and she doesn't have her brains eaten by the Satanic Zombie Cult. So, for your perusal, the rules. *cue dramatic music*
Reasons Zack and Reno Are Never Allowed to Drink, As Per ShinRa Company Regulations
a collaboration between masterofmidgets and Roy of No LJ
1. Each entry shall open with an Addendum to ShinRa Executive Order CXXVII (see title); for example, Addemdum # 7: Reno is never allowed near Rufus' closet and/or bathroom. These are taken to be elaborations and/or justifications for Executive Order CXXVII.
2. Each entry shall be at least 100 words, and from there on out, as long as it wishes to be or the writer can make it
3. There shall be no set structure for the entries: it can be told straight perspective, as an story/excuse to Sephiroth the next morning, as a confession to the arresting officer, as an anecdote offered up during another round of drinking, whatever, we do not care.
4. Pairings shall be as follows: Seph/Zack/Cloud and various combinations thereof (Seph/Zack, Zack/Cloud, Seph/Cloud, and what not), and Reno/basically everything that moves, but especially if it has a dick (ie Rufus/Reno, Tseng/Reno, Rude/Reno, Random Bar Patron/Reno, etc).
5. Aeris and Zack shall have a relationship best described as "we're not dating anymore but that doesn't mean we can't be friends". In other words, at some point (hopefully before he entered into a threesome with 2 other guys), they realized they didn't belong together romantically, but he still meets with her often to talk and hang out, calls her when he needs someone to bail him out (when Seph has his cellphone off)/give him a place to hide, and when he thinks Cloud is in need of being mothered ridiculously, which is often, but no sex ever occurs.
6. Entries shall be posted here, on their respective writers' ff.net accounts, and on the FFVII Yaoi lj comm. LJ posts shall be made by masterofmidgets with credit given to Roy for her work, since she doesn't have an LJ and masterofmidgets does.
7. As pertains to the actual writing, for each set, Roy and masterofmidgets shall exchange lists of prompts/scenarios, and agree on a period of time in which entries must be written and posted. The number of prompts and the length of time to write shall be kept flexible in order to accommodate Schedules of Doom.
Well, that's it! Hopefully this will all end well, and not in flaming death and disaster.
