Absolutely No Angst Here

Things About Which I Am Ridiculously, Geekily Happy
1) Finally not feeling like I'm going to die from either a nails in my skull level headache (all week) or inexplicable severe dizziness (just yesterday)
2) Having a long phone conversation with
telyanofcelore in which we discussed vegetables, Rhys in The Grey King being the same Rhys as in Torchwood, and how Welsh letters are Clark Kent, hiding themselves as innocent, dull, unassuming consonants until they go into the phonebooth and emerge as Superman vowels, saving the WElsh langauge from incomprehensibility.
3) Walking down UNiversity Avenue by myself while singing The Horse-Tamer's Daughter under my breath and eating dark chocolate/chocolate caramello gelato
4) Spending 7 HOURS in Borders, camped out on the floor reading like the geek that I am (comics, manga, Torchwood, etc)
5) Wearing a Batman T-shirt while working my way through a sizable chunk of Marvel's Ultimate universe (16 volumes of Ultimate X-Men, 2 Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate Spiderman, and probably some more I'm forgetting)
6) The Young Avengers *EEEEESOCUTESOINCREDIBLYCUTE*
7) Spending 7 hours in a bookstore and not spending any money on books whatsoever at all (want to soooo badly, but I really can't afford it right now and I don't have any more bookshelf space anyway)
8) Aarinfantasy and their awesometastic fansubs - I watched Winter Cicada last night and it was so fantastically silly, all "our love is so beautiful and tragic and doomed and FULL OF TRAGIC PAIN AND WOE" mixed in with all this stuff about the Japanese civil war between the isolationists and the guys who wanted to open Japan up to foreigners, and what could be better than mixing history with boykissing? Just saying.
9) Finally finally finally after months managing to get ahold of the tracks off Wolfstone's album The Chase - especially The Prophet, which is made of epic amounts of win.
Today was a very good day.
