A woman Doctor would have been cool. A black doctor would have been cool. An old doctor would have been cool. A Marquis de Carabas Doctor would have been AWESOME. But thus far I quite like Matt Smith. His flaily hand gestures amuse me! And his forehead and chin are enormous and his hair could eat me but somehow it's rather endearing. Not attractive per se, but intriguingly quirky looking.

And he reminds me of Jared Padalecki in a weird way I can't quite put my finger on.

Anyway, I am reserving final opinion until, you know, we actually see him in an episode being the Doctor, but even though I will miss Tennant!Doctor tremendously, I have high hopes for Eleven.

Also Jack's reaction will be HYSTERICAL. AND IANTO'S, MY GOD.

And now to sleep, for my flight back to California tomorrow leaves at 8.50am. I AM NOT PLEASED.

The Lack of Travel Curse Is Making Me Paranoid

I am in California. I am not dead. Trip was mostly good except for the part where I was half-running through the Phoenix airport with all my shit and one of my shoes about to fall off because my flight from Albuquerque got in 5 minutes before my flight to Las Vegas started boarding halfway across the airport. Ended up sitting behind another Stanford sophomore on the flight from Vegas, which was kinda cool. I hate the Caltrain with a passion. And motion-sickness.

This makes two trips in a row with no major mishaps. It's a little worrying. I'm still expecting the other shoe to drop.

Have not stopped moving since 7am. Am going to go die now.
