But Damnit I Hate The Airlines
Feb. 24th, 2009 07:45 pmI just bought my plane tickets to go home for spring break XDDDDDD
Not that I don't love Stanford like a mad mad thing, but it's nice to get away for awhile, decompress, and I get pretty homesick toward the end of the quarter. I'm looking forward to spending some time in New Mexico, seeing my family, chipping away a little more at the giant stack of boxes in my room, etc. And my break's going to be longer than I thought, too; my last final is on a Tuesday, so I'm actually going to be home from the 18th to the 29th of March. Yay!
Oh, and I am so excited about seeing my baby cousin when I get home! My uncle Charlie and his wife (I, uh, don't know her name, I've never met her) are moving to New Mexico at the end of this month. He used to live in California, but then he had some weird mid-life crisis and moved to Saipan (in the South Pacific), got remarried, and had a baby. CD's like two or so, which is kind of cool because he's absolutely adorable, and kind of weird because my uncle's like 55. My dad's the baby of the family, and until CD I was the youngest grandkid/niece. But anyway, he decided to move back to the states because Saipan doesn't have very good schools and stuff, and they'll be living with my grandparents for a few months while they get their stuff together. So I'll get to see CD for the first time when I go home for break!
Thanks for putting up with my whiny emo post yesterday! You guys are awesome, and I'm feeling a lot better today. And I'm still in waaaay better shape than I was last year - I went back and looked at some of my old posts around this time in 2008, and every single one of them sounded like what I posted last night. I was such a wreck XD This year is better x1000.
