NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN MAX
Oct. 11th, 2009 06:42 pmThree Things To Be Happy About:
1. I did good enough on calling non-donor grad students today that my boss is probably going to start moving me to better calling pools. And today was the first day I've gone an entire shift without one obnoxious self-righteous asshole ranting at me, which totally makes up for Thursday's jerk who was pissed off because we changed our financial aid policy to offer aid to more students. WTF.
2. My grandfather got home from the nursing home this week. He still has to do outpatient physical therapy, I think, plus all his regular doctors' visits, but at least now he can sleep in his own bed and sit on his own porch, and we don't have to worry about the doctors screwing things up or the nursing home not having the staff to look after him properly. Much easier for my grandmother for sure.
3. I'M WRITING THIS ON MY OWN COMPUTER OMG. It's lucky I'm obsessive and foolishly optimistic - I wasn't expecting to have my cord til tuesday because the post office is closed, but I checked my box anyway on my way home from work and there it was. NOTHING ELSE IS ALLOWED TO GO WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER THIS YEAR OKAY.
