Also I Didn't Have to Work Today
Oct. 30th, 2009 01:26 am Things That Have Made Today Rock:
1) I am actually being useful and productive and getting all my work done, including a Stats problem set (which is killing me omg) and a reading response on the porn we're reading this week in Victorian lit.
2) Got my first short story workshopped in Fiction today. I got a lot of very good constructive criticism from my class and I'm excited about revising the story before I post it here. And the workshop letter my professor gave me was glowing - like, I have no words for how flaily I am about this letter. She basically told me (along with some solid suggestions on flaws in the story I could fix) that my writing is amazing and awesome and I have to stay in the CW program forever. She also recommended that I apply for a Levinthal tutorial (which is a program where you work one on one for a semester with a Stegner Fellow), which I am seriously considering.
3) Hanjuuluver is here! She's spending the night in my dorm before we take the train up to San Francisco tomorrow to go to Yaoi-Con. There will be hijinks. :D
