The really wonderfully fabulous thing about moving to AO3 this year is that stories can be edited after they get posted, which is pretty much the greatest gift ever for a chronic procrastinator like me. colourofsaying wasn't going to wake up in time to beta my story - I just got to a good stopping point and posted that, to make sure I had something up in time. I mean, what I have posted now is a complete story in itself, and it's over the minimum word court by a good bit. But it's unbetaed, and missing the ending that will tie it together into the story I want it to be. But that's okay, because I can take a break, get my head cleared, wait for colourofsaying to get online, and then wrap up the last bits and edit it in later tonight or in the morning. So awesome!
In the meantime, I have approximately 24 dozen cookies to pack up in tins so we can gift them to people. Go me?
