Yeah. It's funny hearing people say "Ohba had no intention of yaoi" but COME ON, he's the one who chained the bishies together and made all those gay jokes. That pairing was spoon-fed to us. And noone can say Mello's not into bondage. that's just obvious. Matt/Mello dynamics are awesome. dominant uke! Mello is pretty common and pretty awesome.
Light's batshit crazy is the best. I also have a thing for villains, and DN has no shortage of those, either. So, basically, all the fucked up romance is just perfect for my tastes (though luckily in real life I have much healthier tastes)
