Watching Tales of Ba Sing Se. Heeeeeeee. Have the following thoughts:

yay girlbonding that doesn't involve any talking about boys. Showmakers, you get a feminist cookie. Also, really liked the message that you are allowed to want to be girly and pretty without ever having to sacrifice your strength of character or self-confidence. Cool.
Iroooooooh. This made me cry so much. Like, it's really subtle and understated, and I wasn't sure where it was going until it actually went there, and just. I love Iroh. Everyone ever loves Iroh. He's such a beautifully complex character.
I would have liked the Aang bit more if it wasn't up against such steep conpetition. It's cute, but kind of average. Whatever.
SOKKA. POETRY BATTLE. WHAT. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.
Zuko, you are such a loveable dork. And such a momma's boy. Er, uncle's boy. That was really quietly sweet, and Random Girl was adorable. But really, Zuko honey, just stick to boys. Clearly you have no mojo with the ladies.
Momo! *bawls* That was so sad! How was that so sad? If I was a little kid, I would so be freaking for Appa right now. *sniffs* As it is, I...think I kinda ship Appa/Momo. Um. Is that even physically possible? Whatever, it's still cute.

This may beat out the season 1 finale as my favorite episode so far. Although it's a though bid in a show where pretty much every episode is made of win.
