The highlight of my day today was locking myself out of my building when I went to brunch. I think this was the first time I've ever forgotten my keys! But I was so half-awake when I went to the dining hall I walked out without them, and didn't realize it until I almost done eating. And of course the exterior doors to our dorm only open by key, and we're one of the buildings that hasn't had the card reader installed yet. I couldn't go anywhere else - I didn't have anything in my pockets except my dining card and my phone, I hadn't showered yet, I wasn't even wearing socks - and since it was 1 in the afternoon on a Saturday, no one at all was around the dorm. I was very irritated waiting 20 minutes for someone to go in/out so they could let me in, and also feeling really stupid.

But seriously, nothing else of any note happened to me at all. I've just been hanging out in my room, reading Sims Legacies and trying to find the energy and interest to watch TV, to very little success. Bleh.

Today's poem is neat. I don't know where I found this - probably in one of my epic del.ici.ous marathons of fic reading. But it's a really nifty found poem about SGA fandom. It's actually the sequel to one that's more specifically McShep, which you can find here.
