I honestly think BN is going to end with everyone and their grandmother getting resurrected from the dead, but if it doesn't, me and DC are going to have to have some serious words, because I am not not NOT capable of dealing with anymore Tearful Last Goodbyes between Booster and Ted. FOUR IS MORE THAN ENOUGH DC DO YOU LIKE KICKING PUPPIES TOO?

I was talking to someone today (this was in the context of talking about Marauders fic, I think) about how when you have a character/characters that are dead in current canon, even sweet, fluffy, fun stories read as inherently tragic. I'm reading the JLI trades I got for my birthday, and awesome and ridiculous are they are, they make me want to cry, because I know what's going to happen to them. I know that this is all Booster and Ted get- this far, and no further. I just want them to be happy together, but I know that isn't how it goes.

Damnit, DC.
