Also Am Going Out For Dinner
Jan. 30th, 2009 04:30 pmI HAS A DEBIT CARD.
(To remember for the future: the time to realize you are out of important girl-type products is not 4 hours after you canceled your card and rendered yourself money-less).
It's weird how paranoid it was making me, considering how little money I spend overall. I guess it was just the nagging awareness that even if there was a huge emergency and I desperately needed money, I wouldn't have it. But now I do, so no more panicking! Just the tedium of updating all my online payment accounts, which luckily enough are few in number. And a lot of them still had the address of the apartment that is no more, so they needed updating anyway.

To celebrate having access to my money again, I am spending it! Just now ordered off of Amazon the following:
- Showcase Presents: Booster Gold! a collection of Booster's original comic from back in the 80s, when he was just a hapless would-be opportunistic superhero from the future, rather than a secret time-traveling widower.
- Marvel Adventures: Avengers vol 1&2. So much better than 616 right now. Everyone in is actually heroic, they all like each other, the good guys win their fights, and Steve and Tony are REALLY REALLY MARRIED.
- Marvel Adventures: Iron Man vol 1. See above on MA:A, only with less Steve and Tony being married and more non-dickish Tony being an adorable woobie with daddy issues.
