On the one hand, New Mexico just elected its first female governor.

On other hand...New Mexico just elected an anti-choice, anti-immigration, anti-gay rights, pro-death penalty Republican governor. That should make the next four to eight years fun.

*sigh* Someone remind me why I want to move back there when I graduate?

And out of morbid curiosity I really want to know how my grandparents voted in the NM elections. /sigh

Ugh, I'm sorry. :( My family's mostly pretty okay, but I've mostly just tried to never mention the election around my dad's girlfriend or my mom's boyfriend's family. Not worth the misery.

My grandparents, as much as I love them, voted Bush both times and legitimately think Glenn Beck is quality television. The TV war at my parents' house when they visit is pretty hilarious though.
