...I hate you, DC. I hate you so fucking much. I mean, everyone pretty much knew this was coming, but I don't care, it's still a horrible thing to do. Fix it, fix it now. In the meantime, I'll be off in my corner crying and constructing the AU where this ends happily.

I can almost cope with cool characters dying if it serves an important narrative purpose, but DC seems to have this "Grrrr we cannot have happy cute funny characters all must be grim and gritty and hardcore ALL THE TIME" attitude that makes me kind of pissed off at them. although really I'd prefer no characters I like ever die of course
