Staye home from work today to listen to the LHC-centered Torchwood radio drama "Lost Souls", and it was so worth it! So many utterly quotable bits! (Will be making at least 2 text icons tonight based off it XD) Anyway, while  and I were both listening to it from our respective states, conversation turned to the Sons of Don AU - the storyline we've worked on where Ianto, Rhys, and PC Andy break off to form their own alien-hunting business apart from Torchwood, and the type of cases they would mostly handle. Hace a chat transcript!

	Amarantha		And Ianto making a poetry

	Ed-san		what do want to bet the Sons of Don mostly get the aliens who are just lost and confused and wanting a beer before they get home?

	Amarantha		And they sit them down in a bar/coffee shop, and chat with them, and commiserate, and then send 'em home
	Ed-san		they really do the Torchwood equivalent of what Andy does as a cop anyway, don't they?
	Amarantha		Yup
	Amarantha		Despite their grandiose name and spandex.
	Ed-san		Bar fights, looking impressively official, being sweet to little old (alien) ladies
	Amarantha		yup
	Amarantha		They get a lot of blowfish
	Ed-san		yup
	Ed-san		lots of alien teenagers buzzing the planet for kicks
	Amarantha		Who they chide, and send home with the next responsible alien in the atmosphere
	Ed-san		*grins*
	Ed-san		If the regular cops need people to do that sort of thing, why shouldn't Torchwood?
	Amarantha		yup
	Ed-san		which begs the question of there being a Torchwood alien watch
	Amarantha		Only they lie through their teeth and say they have more grand adventures and more anti-apocalypse maneuvers than Torchwood itself does.
	Ed-san		nosy suburbian housewives keeping an eye out for alien activity
	Ed-san		and yes, of course
	Ed-san		they talk it up hugely
	Ed-san		at the monthly dinners
	Amarantha		yup
	Amarantha		And I love the idea of a - what's it called
	Amarantha		?
	Ed-san		Rhys instituted group cook-out night
	Amarantha		Where they - ah, Community Watch
	Ed-san		yes
	Amarantha		With the eye on the sign
	Amarantha		Only they have a big T
	Amarantha		Because TW? Subtle it is not.
	Ed-san		*dies*
	Ed-san		not remotely
	Ed-san		as evidenced by Jack's fondness for eplaining their eternal mission to random particle physicists
	Amarantha		yup
	Amarantha		Because they definitely need to know about this /and will believe it/
	Amarantha		That's the funny thing
	Amarantha		For some reason, Jack is convincing
	Ed-san		maybe his chin has secret hypnotic powers
	Amarantha		*dies*
	Amarantha		Yup
	Amarantha		He says 'it's the jawline - once seen, never forgotten' but what he really means is that he uses it as a focal point for his sooper sekrit powers of psikik awesomeness
