Today was my last day at work. Wow! And, suitably, it was batshit weird - in the first hour, I got an escalation call (where someone is too pissed off to deal with so I have to transfer to my supe), a kudos call (where someone thinks I'm so awesome they ask to talk to my supe), and an 85-year-old woman with a Victoria's Secret account. I spent half the afternoon arguing with Phillip about the election and techno music, and my entire lunch break on the phone with telyanofcelore  talking about Doctor Who. And now I don't have to back for at least 9 months, if ever. To celebrate, here's a music post!

I think I originally heard this song on an episode of the Simpsons...but it kind of stuck with me. Janis Ian's voice is lovely, and this is basically a nice anthem for those of us that hope at some point being smart and interesting will pay off more than be pretty and easy.

...I don't remember this song being quite as suggestive as it really appears to be. It's kind of horrifying. But I saw this on a fanmix, and now it's in my head as a Jack Harkness theme song. Shut up.

This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, and this was totally my favorite song. I have it in my playlist now because it is /such/ a John/Rodney song. And John is definitely Princess Jasmine XD

Yes, yes, I'm on a Disney kick, I /know/. But this pretty much my Official Booster Gold Theme Song. Because Booster's theme song has to be something ridiculously upbeat, poptastic and cheesy. It's who he is.
