Important Life Lessons (Or Not)

Some things I learned today:

No matter what I do, my grandma will never be able to grasp the concept that when I have headphones on I am listening to music, and thus am not able to hear anything she says. We will never be able to stop having conversations that follow this general script.

Grandma: blah blah blah
Me: *notices her mouth moving silently and takes off headphones* Huh? 
Grandma: *is obviously annoyed at my inattention* blah blah blah

Geting bashed on the head by a falling curtain rod is painful. Also, it is almost impossible to put a curtain rod back up without standing on the bed; you just end up looking like a spaz. 

Even when you pair it with yaoi in an amv, which should make anything good, rap is still annoying and stupid. So are songs from The Sound of Music.

Cloud getting tentacle!snuggles from Sephiroth and Zack sounds bizarre, creepy, perverted, and just flat out icky, but is actually quite adorable. Really.

Nothing I write will ever end up as short as I think it is going to be. Ever. Just not happening.

Trying to use a knife that is up-side down is both a) ineffective and b) quite painful and bloody. Neither of which is really a good thing.
