In 2008, I:

• finished my first year of college
• moved more times than I like to think about
• got my first job
• quit my first job
• went to my first full weekend convention
• read my first epic Russian tragedy
• fell in love with Jonathan Coulton, the Weakerthans, and filk
• discovered that I am a comics fan and thus an enormous dork
• changed my undeclared major
• got into the SGA, SPN, and Merlin fandoms
• voted in my first presidential election
• had my candidate win my first election
• fell in love with Rahm Emmanuel
• failed epically at NaNoWriMo
• wrote at least 25000 words of mostly slash fic

This year has had some good parts and some bad parts, but 2008 has at the very least been memorable. So bye to 2008, and here's to good 2009 for everyone!
