I just, I, this is incredible. If you told me a year ago Barack Obama would be our next president, I would have told you that you were delusional. If you had told me six months ago, I would have said I wanted it too, but I didn't hold out a lot of hope. I can't believe we really did this. It's fucking incredible.

The innaugural address was fantastic and inspiring. CNN fails, so I missed the first part before I switched to NPR. Going to have to listen to it again later.

Yes, it was awesome! I was in the GEC, with a friend of mine from Geisha class, and we were watching and waiting for the speech to finish - both of us with classes at 12:30, naturally. But we weren't going to run off before it was over! The Air and Simple Gifts thing was pretty cool. And the address was AWESOME. It was really exciting.
