masterofmidgetsAaaargh, didn't I do this 'pulling an all-nighter before a work night' thing last week? WTF self, why do you fail so hard?
Like, you'd think I would realize by now that I have the least efficient paper-writing system ever - that would be the 30 minutes of work, 30 minutes of gay porn fic system - and plan accordingly, but nooooo. Instead, I don't start papers until 3 in the morning. Which is why it is 6.30 and I am trying to have thinky thoughts about Wide Sargasso Sea and getting hung up on my inability to articulate transition words. FAIL. I need to have this print-ready by 10.30 at the latest, and I am just starting my 2nd argument. Granted, the text gets progressively easier to quote and backs my argument up better as it goes on, but still. SO MUCH FAIL.
If you are a Stanford alum and I call you tonight to beg you for money, but don't make any sense at all, I'm sorry. This is why. Work is going to be fuuuuuun.
ETA: One hour, 2 pages, and one argument to go. Can I do it?
