Why Hanjuuluver will always be my favorite ever mad scientist: her response to me being depressed and freaked out over the Financial Aid Fail was to dress me up in my Superman shirt, throw on a pair of goggles, and drag me off to the mall to act out Doctor Horrible songs in the food court in front of total strangers.
YES I KNOW. It was AMAZING and RIDICULOUS and AMAZING. We spent like half an hour out in the parking lot practicing the songs and the choreography and most of the people passing us by where either cracking up or looking at us like we absolutely insane (both of which are appropriate reactions I suppose).
I played the part of Captain Hammer in What A Man's Gotta Do (channeling equal parts Nathan Fillion and John Barrowman) and Penny in On the Rise. Although I think I made a better Captain Hammer. And we did Bad Horse Letter together, but that one's easy, we just did it in the line while we were buying sodas because we were bored. What A Man's Gotta Do was a lot harder to coordinate, since we only had two people, but fun because I got to choke hanjuuluver. *is evil*
A MILLION GEEK POINTS TO US.
Oh, and there was shopping, too, but that part was boring, so after we finished singing we went to the bookstore and spent two hours reading manga.
